Sanjoy Sanyal

Sanjoy has over eighteen years of experience in finance and entrepreneurship in India. Prior to joining New Ventures, Sanjoy set up and was the COO of Vubites.com, a technology platform for advertisement. Previously, he founded an interactive media content development company, Aesthetic Technologies, which won several contracts both Indian and international firms and received venture capital funding from major Indian investors. In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Sanjoy has worked at ITC Classic Finance Ltd. and ICICI Ltd. where he evaluated credit risk and managed debt and equity syndication for project financing. He also provides mentoring to early stage entrepreneurs at the annual TiE-Indian School of Business Venture Capital Conference. Sanjoy has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
