Project: The company needs to establish standardized systems of management and control within its sustainable procurement activities. Templates for data collection and analysis, systems of standardized information and inventory collection that translate appropriately between necessary departments and a better general understanding of managing the company's investment in its supply chains.
Company: Pusat Pengolahan Kelapa Terpadu (PPKT) produces coconut derivative products ranging from cosmetics, cooking oil, biodiesel, and preservatives in Indonesia. Formed in 2005, the Center provides a combination of local community training and research for various coconut based products, with the aim to empower local farmers so growers can process their own coconuts. PPKT was founded as a business trading entity to trade in coconuts and its derivative products. PPKT develops Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and associated products including cosmetics, cooking oil and biodiesel. Coconut waste is also used to develop several other products such as preservatives.
