Scaling Up Clean Energy Access in India - Workshop

New Ventures India, the Centre for Development Finance and Morgan Stanley invite you to join us for a workshop about scaling up clean energy access in India.
The market potential of the clean energy industry serving India’s rural base of the pyramid (BoP) is INR 97.28 billion (US$ 2.11 billion), according to Power to the People: Investing in Clean Energy for the Base of the Pyramid in India, in-depth research published in 2010 by WRI’s New Ventures Program and the Centre for Development Finance at the Institute for Financial Management and Research (CDF-IFMR).
The research identified a number of key challenges currently facing entrepreneurs in clean energy sectors.
This workshop will feature three interactive sessions with key stakeholders to address selected challenges and answer critical questions about scaling up clean energy access. Each session will feature two entrepreneurs and a panel of 8-10 experts and potential partners discussing problems to scaling up, and collaborative solutions to overcoming these barriers.
