Accelerating Enterprise: The Colombia Investor Forum

Funneling investment is an essential part of New Ventures’ mission of accelerating environmental enterprise. To achieve this, each local acceleration center hosts an annual investor forum.

The second annual Colombia Investor Forum and Round Table is fast approaching, taking place on August 18 and 19 in Bogota. This year’s forum will focus on impact investing in Colombia and Latin America and the role of enterprise accelerators and incubators. The forum will showcase entrepreneurs such as Maquinalsa’s branch Recipelet, which collects plastic used in plantain cultivation and transforms the waste into value-added products such as plastic buckets used in the construction sector and plastic hoses. Recipelet and other environmental enterprises will have the opportunity to pitch their business models to both local and international impact investors.

The China, Mexico and India investor forums will take place this fall in Beijing, Cristobal de Las Casas and Mumbai respectively. New Ventures Global will host its first global investor forum next March, bringing entrepreneurs from each of our six countries to New York City for the opportunity to engage with American investors and receive international investment.
