Aires de Campo is a leader in the branding and commercialization of more than 120 organic products through diverse specialized sales centers called "BioCentros."
Understanding the organic market:

Currently, there are more than 20 million hectares of organic cropland cultivated in nearly 100 countries, and production increases worldwide at almost 30% annually.
The organic products market exceeds $20 billion (US), and tends to play a large role over a short time period.
Mexico is the fourth most biologically diverse country on the planet and has the advantage of traditionally small production areas with highly available labor in most rural areas, priming it for the organic products industry.
Aires de Campo: Making a difference
BioCentros are distribution warehouses designed to serve groups of 500-750 regular clients in an attractive and didactic atmosphere that promotes direct bonding between clients and producers. The producers supply the BioCentros with a product line that includes nearly 180 products from 20 sites in Mexico.
Suitable financing of this model, carefully developed over two years and working at a basic level from mid-year, will allow it to become a structure able to support a market of around 50,000 families. These families could generate millions of pesos from hundreds of millions of purchases annually.
Aires de Campo was the first to present the market with organically-processed milk, beef, prepared salads, processed grains and recently, organic ice cream and poultry products. This strategic position has been reinforced by its alliance with the National Union of Certified Organic producers (Unapro, A.C.).
Environmental and social impacts:

Organic agriculture not only helps protect Mexico’s biodiversity but also restores biodiversity to the agro-ecosystems used to grow the organic products.
Consumption of Aires de Campo’s products directly supports the growth and development of the producers, giving jobs to more than 1500 growers and producers from rural Mexico.
The alliance between Aires de Campo and the National Union of Certified Organic Producers has the goal of union promotion and has captured the interest of more than 150 groups of producers.
