New Ventures Mexico

New Ventures Mexico is our Network’s oldest and most mature operation. It started in 2000 as a partnership between WRI and Fondo Mexicano para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, and is now established as an independent organization.

Recognized as one of Mexico’s most successful business accelerators, it has grown beyond its initial presence in Mexico City, and now has a presence in Monterrey with plans for further expansion.

Services and Events

New Ventures Mexico is the country’s main green business accelerator, complementing its support to entrepreneurs with activities that spark excitement in the country’s ecosystem around sustainable business.

• Las Páginas Verdes is a directory of sustainable businesses in Mexico, and has positioned itself as the main source of news and information on sustainable enterprise in the country.

• EcoFest is an annual fair of sustainable business that brings together entrepreneurs, corporate buyers and the general public, raising awareness around the importance of embracing green business practices.

• The Sustainable Minds Network is Mexico’s first network of mentors aimed exclusively at sustainable enterprise. It is comprised of business executives and investors who are interested in supporting the growth of green enterprise projects.
